Ted and Kellie Petroskey (Head Coaches)

For the 2011-2012 skating season, we are very pleased to introduce our new coaches –Ted and Kellie Petroskey.

Former USFSA and PSA rated Gold Test competitive figure skating coaches, Ted and Kellie have a combined 30 years of directing multiple skate school programs, coaching, training, off-ice training (dry land and gym workouts), nutrition, consulting, time management and periodization of individual athletes. And, of course, equipment needs and maintenance of competitive skaters.  Kellie and Ted manage the largest figure, speed, and inline skate shop in the nation – Pierce Skate & Ski.

The Petroskeys are also co-founders of the nation’s largest inline skate club – Midwest Skate Club. Initially they participated in short track and long track skating to help with their inline technique and as a cross training tool. They have since found a passion for all forms of speed skating.
