There is not a special trial day or time – you are welcome to try speedskating at any time during the season. Skate with the team for a few sessions and see if speedskating is the sport for you.
We have a limited number of speedskates available or you can use a pair of hockey or figure skates. Cost for the two session trial is $25.00 and includes a pre-ice workout, ice practice time, post workout stretching and conditioning and skate usage (if your size is available).
Contact us to sign up for the trial and reserve your skate size. To participate in the trial session, you will need to complete and bring the Trial Form to the first practice. Also be sure that you have the appropriate gear with you for your trial sessions.
The trial session is available only for short track skating at the Plymouth Ice Center. Long Track skating at the Roseville Oval is not included in the trial offering at this time.
